The ACLU of Mississippi is dedicated to promoting, defending, and extending civil liberties to all Mississippians with emphasis on issues related to criminal justice reform, educational opportunities, equal access/equality for all, voter rights, and governmental transparency and accountability. We accomplish our mission through legislation, litigation, and advocacy.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, multipurpose organization of women and men that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government and influences policy through education and advocacy.

One Voice is a non-profit, civic engagement organization working to give a voice to marginalized and vulnerable communities across the South by democratizing public policy through research, training, education, and organizing communities.

Mississippi Center for Justice is a nonprofit, public interest law firm committed to advancing racial and economic justice.

Mississippi Votes is an organization of intergenerational synergy centering and led by young people invested in the progression of Mississippi. We do this through our programming and outreach strategies that empowers young people, encourages civic engagement, and educates communities on voting rights through place-based grassroots organizing.

The mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

Southern Echo’s mission is to empower African Americans and low wealth communities throughout Mississippi and the Southern Region with the knowledge, skills and resources needed to impact and demand accountability of the political, education, economic and environmental systems to address the needs of communities through comprehensive organizing, leadership development, training and technical assistance programs.

CMPDD is a non-profit corporation concerned with meeting the ever-changing needs of Central Mississippi. CMPDD promotes area-wide progress through regional planning and development concepts in areas such as planning, government management, and human resource coordination.
