So how can you help support these efforts?

You can volunteer to:

1. research state-specific information, such as who the members of the redistricting committee/commission are and how to contact them, which journalists are covering redistricting news, which organizations are working on redistricting this cycle and what support they provide, and more.
2. attend state hearings on redistricting, take detailed notes on the process, and make connections with others in attendance who are fighting gerrymandering.
3. become a redistricting expert and assist our support staff in answering questions sent through the website.
4. assist with other tasks, such as proofreading content for the website, double checking data, and other ad hoc projects as they arise.
