Post-2021 Redistricting District Adjusted Population Totals ## RDH Date Retrieval 03/21/23 ## Sources The RDH retrieved adjusted population data from its website for all states but RI, where block-level data is unavailable. This data needed to be processed for standardization. This data was aggregated to the district level using the 118th Congressional District block assignment file (https://redistrictingdatahub.org/dataset/118th-congressional-districts-nov-2022-election-active-jan-2023-jan-2025/) and National Post-Redistricting (2021 Cycle) State Legislative District Boundaries and Block Assignment File (https://redistrictingdatahub.org/dataset/118th-congressional-districts-nov-2022-election-active-jan-2023-jan-2025/) on the RDH website. We consulted an official report for RI adjusted population totals at the district level and joined these totals to the RI districts. Please note that Delaware's State House plan contains a split block across districts 009 and 011. For this report, we do not incorporate sub block-level data and aggregate this block into district 011, which matches what the census does. ## Fields: Field Name Description STATE State Name DISTRICT District Name or Number LEVEL District Level (CONG, SLDU or SLDL) ADJ_POP Adjusted Population ## Processing Steps Visit the RDH GitHub and the processing script for this code [here](https://github.com/nonpartisan-redistricting-datahub/Processing-Requests/) Please direct questions related to processing this dataset to info@redistrictingdatahub.org.
