This dataset was retrieved via personal communication with the Office of the Secretary of State (Suzanne.Wetz@state.sd.us)

##Processing
The RDH retrieved the from the source listed, and created a SENATE field from the numeric part of the DISTRICT field (removing the "A" or "B"). 
The data was dissolved based on the SENATE field to create this shapefile. The only instance where Senate districts differ from House districts are 26A and 26B are combined to make Senate District 26 and 28Aand 28B to make Senate District 28.
