2020 Redistricting Data for Nevada at the Block, County, and Precinct levels The P.L. 94-171 redistricting data is a tabulation from the decennial census that includes, among other data, counts of population by race and ethnicity (Hispanic or Latino origin) at the census block level. Nevada is required by law to redistrict using data that reflects the reallocation of inmates to their last known residential address prior to incarceration, rather than the address of the facility in which they are incarcerated on Census day, pursuant to AB450 of the 2019 Legislative Session. Thus, the total population numbers are different from the data that the U.S. Census Bureau provides. ##Redistricting Data Hub (RDH) Retrieval Date 04/06/2022 ##Sources These datasets were retrieved from the Nevada Legislature at hhttps://www.leg.state.nv.us/Division/Research/Districts/Reapp/2021/demographic-data #Processing The RDH retrieved the data from the source listed and did not modify any of the data. ##Additional Notes Enclosed in this zip folder are three different Excel Workbook (.xlsx) files: "2020PL94-171_ADJPOP11-13-2021_Precincts.xlsx", "2020PL94-171_ADJPOP11-13-2021_Counties.xlsx", "2020PL94-171_ADJPOP11-13-2021_Blocks.xlsx".
